College Workstudy Positions for Undergraduates:
Position title: Laboratory Research Aide
Responsibilities include: Assist with routine laboratory duties (such as:
washing lab dishes, autoclaving, preparing solutions etc.). Perform
computer data entry, perform clerical duties, perform related
tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Preferably life science major (i.e. Biology, zoology,
genetics, biochemistry, chemical engineering, psychology, animal science,
etc., etc.). Must have a strong desire to gain research experience. Must be
hardworking and responsible.

Research Positions
for Undergraduates:
Purpose:
Gain first hand experience at conducting scientific research,
collecting and analyzing data. Carry-out an independent research
project under the supervision of a Sakaguchi Lab member.
Qualifications: Preferably life science major (i.e. Biology, zoology,
genetics, biochemistry, chemical engineering, psychology, animal science, etc.,
etc.). Must have a strong desire to gain research experience. Must be hardworking
and responsible.

Pre-doctoral Research

We have a position(s) for a student seeking a Ph.D. (M.S. also
a possibility).
The student may enter into one of the following graduate programs:
The Neuroscience Program (Neuro) at ISU.
The Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) Program
at ISU.
The Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) Program at
ISU.
The student(s) will gain training
and experience in cellular, molecular and developmental neurobiology.
