Biographical Summary
Zijun obtained his Ph.D. degree in May 2011 from Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Iowa State University. Prior to that, he was at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, where he received his B.S. degree in Automation in June 2006.
From March 2007 to May 2011, Zijun was a Research Assistant in ISU VLSI CAD Lab. His advisor is Dr. Chris Chu, who is always ready for discussing research problems "24 hours a day". Under his patient guidance, Zijun was working on VLSI Physical Design, specifically floorplanning and placement. Since November 2010, Zijun has been working at the Placement Technology Group in Cadence Design Systems, San Jose, CA.
