You must have 5 hours of ALEKS logged by 8 AM Friday September 16th. At that point your first 25 ALEKS points will be distributed. You will get 5 points for having 5 hours. You will get 5 additional points if you served those hours in a minimum of 1 hour the first week, and 2 hours each subsequent week. The other points will come from the % improvement you have made. (To see this, click on the Progress tab and look at all the "+_%" lines. You will get one point per percentage point increase in all categories.)
For those of you interested in setting up Math Zone first go here. Then click on the tab and find our book. Log in with the student code from your Math Zone booklet. Then put in your e-mail and password. Finally enter our course code: 631-3D-BF1.
Our first Exam is scheduled for Thursday September 14th! Remember to bring your (non-graphing) calculator (if you think you'll use it) and something to write with.
