About Me
Hello and welcome to my personal Iowa
State web page! My name is Eduard Zahariev, I am 18 years old and currently a
freshman at Iowa State University. I am an undeclared engineer however I have narrowed down my
major choices to Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. I was born on
March 1st, 1991 in Sofia, Bulgaria and lived there for the first 5
years of my life, until moving to the United States. Ever since moving away
from Sofia, I have lived in New Orleans, LA, Highland Park, NJ, Vancouver, BC,
London, ON, Ottawa, ON, and Ames, IA. Throughout high school I was heavily
involved in sports such as basketball, soccer football, and track. In my free
time I enjoy reading, watching movies, skateboarding, snowboarding,
playing/watching sports, and playing guitar. Currently I am only involved in
intramural sports, however next year I plan to join several clubs and hopefully
be an active member. My experience at Iowa State so far has been great and
hopefully will continue to be so.
