75th Memories The Voice of Iowa State!

We're celebrating 75 years as WOI, and we'd like your help!

On April 28, 1922, the Federal Communications Commission granted the call letters W O I to the broadcasting station at Iowa State College. April 28th also marks the beginning of regularly scheduled voice broadcasts from Iowa State, so this spring we'll be celebrating this important anniversary.

As part of our celebration, we'd like to hear your memories of WOI. It might be your earliest memory of listening to WOI-- the market news at noon on the radio in the kitchen or Happy Tune Time in the afternoons. It might be a program that's been a particular favorite of yours-- The Book Club, Stage and Screen, In Word and Sound-- or maybe a well-known station personality.

Whatever the case, we'd love to have your memories to share with others.
