What do I do when I need help?

You have options.
1) Talk to your classmates.
2) Talk to me in my office. I am always willing to listen to what is causing you trouble and try different ways to help make things clearer. Helping you out is my job.
3) Attend a Supplemental Instruction session. They meet almost every day.
SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION, LEADER: MICHAEL
Session 1: Mondays, 7:10 PM @ Pearson 2143
Session 2: Tuesdays, 6:10 PM @ Pearson 2143
Session 3: Tuesdays, 7:10 PM @ Pearson 2143
Session 4: Wednesdays, 4:10 PM @ Carver 232
Session 5: Thursdays, 8:10 PM @ Pearson 2143
4) Visit the Math Help Room in 385 Carver. It is staffed from 9:00 to 4:00 or 5:00 Monday through Friday. The people there will try their hardest to answer your questions.
5) I am told that you can arrange for a tutor through Student Services. That's another option if you feel you need a lot of one on one help.
6) Do nothing. That is bad advice, do one of the first four options instead.

What if I can't come during office hours?

Email me and let me know what other times will work for you. I'll examine my schedule and find a way to meet with you. I too have a busy schedule, but I will do my best. You can also simply drop by my office. If I am there (I am there a lot) and available, I will try to help you.

Why do you like Detroit sports teams so much?

The real question is, "Why don't you?" If you really want to know about this and all the other things close to my heart, go here. The short answer is because I am from Michigan and Detroit is a great city with the toughest, hardest working, longest suffering heart in America.
