Welcome to my website
I am a senior majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Management in the College of Business. I am also working towards a minor in Engineering Studies offered by the College of Engineering. I plan to graduate in May of 2008.
My primary interest is in supply chain management. As far as what type of job I will be looking for in the field goes, I have not limited my options. I would mainly be interested in a career involving coordination of other firm’s transportation. As a third party logistics provider, I would be able to use my experience in sales and my education in management to support my efforts. The field is not limited and quickly expanding into new areas. I my interests will develop as my career progresses.
The interest I have in engineering goes beyond my career goals. I am very interested in how things work and how the impact society. The minor I am pursuing allows me to take courses with that type of subject matter, because the subject is studied typical business coursework. Currently, I am the first and only official student in this minor, but many others are enrolled in the courses provided for the minor. During the next year I will be working a great deal on promoting this minor.
