Note: In 1999, the tickets to Europe were running between $450 and $550 during the month of May. The airfares went up considerably in June and July ($750 - $850). I recommend that you book as early as possible so you get a reasonable fare. I had to travel to Europe in June of 1999 and I ended up paying around $840.
