Study:
The
Teaching of English as a Foreign Language in the Czech Republic and in
Germany.

This course is designed
to attract advanced undergraduate students who are majoring in linguistics,
a foreign language, international education, English or any other major,
and are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in teaching English
as a second/foreign language.
This course will also appeal
to graduate students (who could take the course as an independent study)
who are interested in a teaching career abroad but have not yet been
abroad or do not know what to expect. Clearly, understanding how English
is taught in a foreign setting increases studentsŐ abilities to perform
as professionals in addressing their own studentsŐ needs after the completion
of their degrees.
