Interests

1.     Golf

I started to play golf when I was 6 years old. When I was about 13 I decided that I wanted to try out for the National team. I made the team when I was 14, and have played for them ever since. I’m now on my seventh year of competing for Denmark around the world during the summer. During the school year, I compete for the ISU women’s golf team. This semester has been my first year of competing for the cyclones. I really enjoy it and love traveling around the US with my teammates.

2.     Friends

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and going to the movies, out to eat, shopping or just hangout. A lot of times hanging out with friends ends up being another day on the golf course. Since I have played golf most of my life, a lot of my friends share the same interest, and we enjoy a relaxing round of golf. Other times I just need to get away from the golf course and do something completely different, and that’s where I have a few really good friends, whom I have known for a very long time, who always support me and know how to make me smile.

3.     Workout

A thing I really enjoy is working out and staying in shape. I like to attend as many activities as possible such as yoga, body toning, lifting, tennis, racquetball, cardio, Pilates, and whatever keeps you going. Two years ago I taught a stability ball class. I really liked helping other people stay in shape and reach their goals of a weight gain or lost.

4.     Family

Family is a very important aspect of my life. I try to spend as much time with them as possible when I’m in Denmark. They have all been very supportive of my decision of studying abroad, and always cheer me up when I call home.
