The following are some stand-alone computer programs that are useful in Stat 531. Vardeman wrote none of them, but many former students (and others) have created these helpful tools.

To DOWNLOAD Executable Code, you may need to click on "File, Save As" and save the file to your own directory. To run the program double click it, or you may run it from a DOS Prompt.

EXECUTABLE CODE (for ALPHA):

To DOWNLOAD Executable Code, you may need to click on "File, Save As" and save the file to your own directory. After saving the executable file (*.EXE) to your directory, you will need to make the file executable by issuing a chmod command in that directory. For example, to make CONEST.EXE executable, you would need to issue the following command:

chmod +x conest.exe

Then to run the executable program, just type in its full name (i.e. conest.exe).
