Inference for Factorial Effects in JMP®

Chapter 8, Printout 1

Note: While the focus of this example is inference for factorial effects, the data used and the procedure followed are nearly identical to those of Printout 6 of Chapter 4. Much of the information sought is displayed automatically by JMP. Pay attention to the addition of the "Upper 95%" and "Lower 95%" columns to the Parameter Estimates table.
  1. Launch JMP and create a new data table.

  2. Enter the data.

  3. Compute fitted effects.

  4. Display additional parameter estimates.

JMP adds two columns to the Parameter Estimates table.
