GEM YIELD TRIAL DATA:I. Data communication form for GEM yield trials: Each year, GEM cooperators send the yield trial data back to the GEM data manager. Please lick here to see the format we prefer you to use. Thank you for your cooperation. II. GEM yield trial location map: In year 2004, GEM staff and GEM cooperators conducted 38 yield trial experiments in 86 locations (10 states). If you want to know the locations of them, please click here to see the location map. It's not as accurate as it should be, but it gives you a general idea where the GEM yield trials are located. III. Numbering Scheme: Numerical characters are used for naming the yield trial tests. The first 2 number for year (96 for year 1996). The third digit is for homologous area (1=tropical, 5=temperate, and 6=both). The fourth digit is for %exotic (2=2 way cross - 50% exotic, 3=3 way cross - 25% exotic, 0=both, and 4=other). The last 1 or 2 digits are the sequential numbers for the experiments (we use 2 digits only when we have more than 9 experiments in the same category). For example: 96522 is the Experiment #2 in 1996 for temperate 2-way crosses (50% exotic). IV. The table of the GEM yield trial data: GEM yield trial data are presented here by years and experiments within years. Each experiment is named by numbers, which are explained above. If you need more information, feel free to contact the GEM webmaster. GEM Yield Trial Data:
