GEM disease evaluation data are collected with different scales by different GEM cooperators. Some use 1 to 5 scale, some 1 to 7 scale, and some 1 to 9 scale. It was proposed to use one GEM rating scale to facilitate comparisons and has been approved by the TSG in September 2012. This system uses 1 to 9 scale, while 1 is resistant and 9 is susceptible. From now on, all of the evaluation data will be converted to GEM system. So all the data will be presented on web with the original data and GEM rating conversion. Now, only evaluation data collected in the year 2011 have been converted. This conversion process is still under construction. So, come back later for the full conversion (September 28, 2012).
