There are two types of loans receivable holds:

A hold is placed if an exit interview is not completed. Go to www.uasexit.com to complete the information. If you require assistance please contact University Accounting Service, our billing servicer, at 800-999-6227.

A hold is placed once your Federal Perkins Loan or Health Professions Student Loan becomes 60 days past due. You may call University Accounting Services, our billing servicer, at 800-999-6227 to determine the amount past due and make payment.

How can I find out why Iowa State University is listed on my credit bureau report?

Iowa State University is required to report the loan status of Federal Perkins Loans, Health Profession Student Loans and Loans for Disadvantaged Students. Contact Nancy Bear at (515) 294-4786 to determine if you have one of these types of loans.

Since we converted our University Long Term Loans to our billing servicer, the interest paid from January through July may be obtained by contacting our office at (515) 294-8747. Interest paid from August through December will be reported by our billing servicer.
