Account Information Release Options

  1. A student can authorize the ISU Accounts Receivable Office to send a billing statement to another individual or just authorize the ISU Accounts Receivable Office to discuss their account with that individual. They may select either of those options even if they do not set up a seperate Third Party Account as referenced in #2 below. In order to authorize this, click here to view screenshot and take the following steps:
    • Log in to your account on AccessPlus
    • Select the Student tab
    • Select Account/U-Bill
    • Select Account Info Release (Three Options)
      • Mail Statement and Information Release ($7.50) OR
      • Information Only (No additional cost - No billing statement mailed) OR
      • Email notification and Information Release
  2. Students may set up a Third Party Account on AccessPlus, giving another individual his or her own login and password. Even though a student has set up a Third Party Account, it is still necessary to comply with federal regulations by giving the ISU Accounts Receivable Office authorization to discuss account information with the Third Party accountholder. In order to do this, take the following steps:
    • Log in to your account on AccessPlus
    • Select the Student tab
    • Select Third Party Access
    • Select Add Account and follow the instructions
    • Complete Account Info Release
  3. Please remember that billing statements are electronic unless the student has authorized a paper billing statement as referenced in #1.
