  • Teaching/Research Assistant, Iowa State University, English Department, Ames, IA.   Presently working as a discourse analyst helping to develop research writing materials. Taught one section of Reading Strategies for Non-Native Speakers of English (ENG 99R, 12 students), and one section of Listening Strategies for Non-Native Speakers of English (ENG 99L, 10 students).  Created and coordinated activities using ISUComm Moodle and Wimba Voice Board. (Fall 2010 - present)
  • EFL Teacher,  Instituto Chileno Norteamericano de Cultura de Curicó, Curicó, Chile.  Taught a variety of EFL classes, including:  Intermediate and Advanced General English,  and ESP for Communications, International Trade, and Agriculture. (March 2009 - Feb 2010)
  • EFL Teacher,  Instituto Master, Curicó, Chile.  Taught EFL for Basic Learners. (March 2009 - Jan 2010) 
  • EFL Teacher, Centro de Capacitación en Idiomas, Viña del Mar, Chile.  Taught a variety of EFL classes, including:  Basic, Intermediate and Advanced General English,  TOEFL Preparation, ESP for Port Administrators, Congressional Employees, and Tech Company Employees. (2007 - 2009) 
  • EFL Teacher,  Chilquinta Energía S.A, Valparaíso, Chile.   Taught business English classes with an emphasis on energy distribution.  Created personalized and relevant materials. (2006 - 2008)
  • Spanish Teacher / Civics Teacher, Ravenna Public Schools, Ravenna, NE.  Taught Spanish I and II for High School Students and Civics for 7th Graders.  Planned and developed the courses. (2004 - 2005)
