Projects

I have put up five different projects, the first two coming from my Eng 213 Class, up on this website for you to enjoy!

The first one is my Kinetic Text assignment that I created. The poem is called "I Am That Nerd" by Shappy. I decided to choose this poem because I feel like I am a NeRd. Most of this poem made sense to me and I enjoyed every second of making this short video. It was all done in Notepad & MovieMaker... Why you ask? Because I thought it gave it a nerdy kind of feel, ya know? Hope you enjoy!

The second project, also from my Eng 213 class, that I decided to show you, well actually let you listen to, is my CD mix that I made. It was supposed to represent a theme that we chose, and I decided to choose my life as the theme. The below CD mix's songs start from my childhood to now. And I felt like each song represented each stage of my life very well.

The third project that I want to show you is from my Eng 250 class. It is a paper about whether or not Hip Hip should be taught in schools. There are 3 perspectives in the paper and I help mediate all three to show the common ground.

Should Hip Hop Be Taught In Schools?

The fourth project that I want to show you is also form my Eng 250 class. It is another paper (I know I'm sorry) that I wrote. It is about a speech given for graduating students, and talks about life and how you should go about living it after graduating. The first link is for the actual speech, and the second link is my review on it.

The final and last project I am going to show you is actually a code for one of my assignments in ComS 228. This class has been the biggest headache this semester, because not only is the meterial hard to learn, but they give you these huge projects! It is all code, and I'm sorry if you can't read it... but if you can test it out in Eclipse! It's over 1100 lines of Java code, and implements a LinkedList that has the silly method of moving three forward and two backwards. The first link is for the assignment details, the second is my actual code!

Those are my five projects that I wanted to show you! I hope you enjoyed them very much. If you think I should have gotten an A+ on any of these assignments you should tell that too my teachers! Thank you!
