Annual Vegetable Progress Report

Year 2007

The following research projects were carried out at the Horticulture Station (Gilbert) and the Muscatine Island Research Farm (Fruitland). The soil type at the Horticulture Station consists of a moderately, well drained, loam with 2.5 to 4% organic matter content. The soil type at Fruitland is a excessively, well drained, coarse sand with organic content < 1%. There is one or two trials conducted at the Armstrong Farm (Lewis) located in southwest Iowa on loess soils. Click on the topic of interest for downloading to your computer.
