This memorandum will offer you background and insight pertaining to my current life and future aspirations.

I am currently a senior studying Microbiology. I have a strong interest in clinical disease pathogenesis and prevention; how a bacterium attacks and affects a body, and how this attack can be prevented.

I am undoubtedly more comfortable writing as a means of expressing myself than I am talking in a group or social setting, although I have often recognized this as one of my greatest flaws. I am looking forward to this class as a way to broaden and sharpen my writing skills.

Something unique about me is that I enjoy simpler things in life. Shopping the second hand stores, gardening, sewing, listening to classical music, and coffee on the porch in the morning. I often think I was born into the wrong generation.
