Dear Members of the Knights of Columbus:
In my weakened condition, I find it difficult to say anything very inspiring. But I do have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for any prayers you said for me.
I am beginning to think that this accident wasn't fatal - as it could have been - and that the Lord has a few things for me to accomplish in the land of the living.
I pray that you will see God acting in your life. What does God have for you to do in the remaining years of your life? Someone said that in February we can realize that sometimes we are the statue - other times we are the pigeons.
May the Holy Spirit make a statue of you!
Fraternal Chaplin,
Msgr. James Supple
