Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee

The Knights of Columbus Local Spelling Bee last Sunday was a huge success with 38 contestants in the 4th grade-level alone. Many thanks to Deane Belcher and Bob Dahlgren along with all the other Knights who helped make it go so well. The KofC State Spelling Bee will take place at St. Cecilia's School on Sunday, April 9th. Please be sure to volunteer if you can. It will begin at 1:OOpm and finish around 4:00.

ARC Casino Night

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a casino night for the Association of Retarded Citizens group at St. Cecilia's Social Hall on Saturday, March 4th. Please contact Mike Heitzman (292-1605) if you are able to help out.

The 'Last Supper' Play

The Knights of Columbus will once again present the Last Supper play to some local parishes in the surrounding community. This Lent the cast will travel to Jewel, April5; Madrid, April 12; State Center, April 16; back to Ames on April 19th at the Northminster Presbyterian Church. All performances will begin at 7:00pm.

2nd/3rd Degree Exemplification:

As of this date there are several Second and Third Degrees scheduled for the coming months. Anyone interested in attending, contact Terry Herrman at 292-4968.

Drawing for Dollars $$$

Each monthly business meeting closes with a drawing for dollars. At the February meeting we could have had one $50 winner, Richard Segedi and one to win $37, Howard Webb. Remember you must be present to win!
