"Keep Christ in Christmas" Cards

Although the no more cards will be ordered this year, a few boxes are still left. If you still wish to purchase some nice Christmas Cards with a Christian theme, they will be available at our next meeting, December 8th.

Knights of Columbus Polo Shirts

Polo shirts ordered earlier this fall have arrived and will be available for purchase at our next business meeting on December 8, 1999. The price of the shirts will be $19 each. The additional dollar will go to cover the shipping costs.

Family Hour of Prayer for the New Millennium‹Celtic Cross

In the coming year the Knights of Columbus will sponsor a Family Hour of Prayer in preparation for the new millennium, responding to our Holy Father's call to recommit ourselves to the truths of the faith and continued service to Church and country. This year the traveling icon will be a Celtic Cross representing our immigrant past and specifically calling to mind the Irish roots of our founder Fr. Michael McGivuey. The cross will be in our district betweenJanuary 31 - February 11. Arrangements are underway to host the prayer hour at one of the parishes within our council.

"Past Grand Knight" Lapel Pins

Lapel pins are now available, free of charge, for those members who were past Grand Knights of the Ames Council. If you would like one, please contact Terry Herrman (292-4968) and one will be sent to you.

Drawing for Dollars $$$

Each monthly business meeting closes with a drawing for dollars. At the November meeting we had our first winner in several months. Congratulations to Tom Samson who won $50. Remember you must be present to win!
