S/C Council Committee Representatives
University Committee Representatives (2011-2012) All Supervisory/Confidential employees are eligible and encouraged to serve on University commitees. This allows input on University affairs that may affect all Supervisory/Confidential employees as well as other University employees. Benefits Committee - Studies and makes recommendations with respect to employee benefit programs, including group insurance plans and retirement annuity programs. Lesley Hawkins Linda Young Committee on Disabilities - Develops programs designed to provide information concerning disabilities to the academic community and provides support to persons interested in disabilities and persons with disabilities.
Lesley Hawkins Committee on Women - Advises the administration regarding policies affecting women staff members and students.
Deb Larkin RISCAC -
(Regents Interinstitutional Supervisory/Confidential Advisory Council)
Representatives from each of the three state universities; Iowa State University, University of Iowa and University of Northern Iowa; along with the Personnel Directors and the Regents Merit System Director meet four times a year to consult on policies and issues pertinent to S/C employees.
Lesley Hawkins Laura Moreland Transportation Advisory Committee - Recommends policies and regulations with respect to traffic and parking on the campus.
Deb Larkin Work/Life Advisory Committee - Helps the university
strategize about best ways to build and refine its commitments to ensuring
that ISU is a great place to learn and work. |
