The following is a list of test preparation resources - it is not an endorsement.
GENERAL MATERIALS
- Check your local public library or bookstores for test preparation books.
- Check your local university/college or community college library. For example, at the Career Exploration Library, located on the 3rd floor of the Student Services Bldg., a short TOEFL sampler CD-ROM, and GRE and GMAT Powerprep Software, as well as various test preparation books are available for use in the library, without charge. To use the software programs, call 294-0742 or visit the career library to schedule a block of time.
- Hire a tutor to help you with specific material.
- Take a refresher math course.

- There is a TEST PREP CENTER web site, which is a comprehensive web site for college entrance exams such as SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT. You will find hundreds of pages of free test-prep materials, including test dates, strategies, solved problems, and extensive math and verbal review. The web address is: http://www.testprepcenter.com

- GRE
You can reserve a time to take a free practice general GRE at the SCS Career Library by calling 294-0742.
A free full-length General Test is available in downloadable format on the GRE Web site at: http://www.gre.org. GRE PowerPrep software will be mailed to you once you register for the GRE General Test.
Practice Books for the General and Subject Tests and Software for the General Test are available for a fee from GRE. You can also visit GRE online (http://www.gre.org) to order the materials.
- GMAT
Refer to the GMAT Registration & Information Bulletin for test preparation information. You can also visit the GMAT web site for tips on how to prepare, as well as information on ordering preparation software: http://www.gmat.org
- LSAT
Test dates and sample questions are given in the LSAT and LSDAS Registration & Information Bulletin. Law Service publications are listed at the following web site: http://www.LSAC.org
