This rather long "paper" documents the use of the
computer tools that we will be using in class this year (mostly
S-PLUS, my additional S-PLUS commands, and a little Emacs). It contains
examples of almost all of the things that we will be doing. It also
contains an outline of some of the technical material in the
course. I suggest that you print out a copy or download the pdf for
viewing on a computer.
