Parks Library at Iowa State University will be providing electronic reserve library services for the Art and Design Department Rome Studies Abroad Program via Internet. Fine Arts and Interior Design students will be able to log on the Internet in their studios in Rome to search Scholar for materials to support research papers and classroom activities. Periodical articles and chapters of books may be requested by students and faculty. Information for single students will be photocopied and sent to their Rome studio address by FedEx in two to three days. Materials for classes or a group of students will be scanned into the Parks Library Electronic Reserve on the web for student and faculty access on Rome. This is the first year the Rome Studies Abroad Program will be linked to Iowa State University Parks Library on the Internet.
