Parks Library at Iowa State University will be providing electronic reserve
library services for the Art and Design Department Rome Studies Abroad Program
via Internet. Fine Arts and Interior Design students will be able to log
on the Internet in their studios in Rome to search Scholar for materials
to support research papers and classroom activities. Periodical articles
and chapters of books may be requested by students and faculty. Information
for single students will be photocopied and sent to their Rome studio address
by FedEx in two to three days. Materials for classes or a group of students
will be scanned into the Parks Library Electronic Reserve on the web for
student and faculty access on Rome. This is the first year the Rome Studies
Abroad Program will be linked to Iowa State University Parks Library on
the Internet.
