Dear Jerry and Susan,
The final day has come. I just said good-bye to Ray, Violet and Cindy. That was hard. My hope is that we all will meet again soon.
Yesterday we went to a big expo about living in 2001. In a big area near the harbor, different architects have built houses for one family or for several families. The big apartments in the top floor were the most expensive ones, $ 890,000. For that amount you buy a right to live in the apartment, but you don't own "the land". Then you have to pay $800-900 per month and then extra for power. The garage space will be $70 per month. All this includes a wonderful view.
Picture nos. 1 and 2 is at the expo. No 3 is Emilie in "her" purple kitchen at the expo. Violet and Ray went later to the Johanna museum to listen to Sigurd and his band. The rest of the people went to another soccer game.
This evening we went to Anderslov to pick up the dresses. Pictures nos. 4-6 are Sarah in one of the dresses. Susan's dress is not at any picture, but the lady in the shop gave very good instructions how to finish the dress and Cindy has all this on video tape. Pictures nos. 7-8 are Cindy and Sarah posing outside the shop. Picture no. 9 is our last dinner together, the same place where we had our first meal 2 weeks earlier.
