A note from Tina Book:
Dear Jerry and everybody else,
Today I didn't take any pictures. These pictures were taken by Barbie with her new digital camera. I just copied her discs and it worked.
JoAnn, Orson, Scott and Erin went on their own to Copenhagen. The rest of us went north, along the west coast. At Helsingborg the young ones (Emily, Emilie, Frankie and Sarah) wanted to take the boat to Helsingor (Denmark). Up there it is very close to Denmark, 20 min. by boat (see last picture, part 2, pink rectangle). The rest of us went to a pottery fabric outlet in Hoganas then up to a peninsula, Kullen (same picture, green ellipse). Terribly windy and heavy rain at the same time. Some of us went up to the top of the lighthouse, even Cindy (picture 4 and 5).
Then back to Helsingborg, where we met the young ones. The restaurant was on a boat, S/S Swea. Many pictures were taken (no. 6, 7, 8 and 9) with Violet in the front. We had plaice, shrimp or salmon and it tasted very good. All of us like the Swedish coffee Zoega's, which is roasted in Helsingborg.
On the way back we stopped to watch the view over Denmark. The place is a red rectangle on the map at picture no 10. I am pointing at the bridge between Sweden and Denmark, telling that we probably can see it when we are going downhill in a few minutes.
Tonight Emily, Orson and Emilie are going out again. We think that they will behave as usual. Tomorrow I will prepare for an extra Midsummer Eve and the rest will go to the beach or shopping or canal tour.
Many regards,
Tina
