PICTURES FROM SWEDEN - JULY 10, 2001

A note from Tina Book:

Dear Jerry (and everybody else),
Today we took a trip to the south east of Scania. We stopped at Aina and Sigurd's house to pick them up and had time for a family picture.
The 3rd and 4th picture is taken by a willow tree that is 150 years old. Just beside this tree (close to the village Rydsgard) Olof and Maria Book moved 1904 to a farm, where they stayed for the rest of their lives. Olof and Maria are Cindy's, Susan's, JoAnn's, Barbie's, Per Olof's and my great grandparents.
We went to Ale Stenar, which is a place with old stones placed 2,700 years ago. The researchers think that this was done as some kind of calendar to keep track of the hours of the day and the days of the year. Late tonight supper at a Pizzeria. Even later coffee at Aina and Sigurd's. It was a lovely day with blue sky, but very windy.
Everybody is still in good shape.
Tomorrow we are going to see Copenhagen.
