``Return to Reno'' Round II - Part One MNR Results:
After the match, a juvenille detention facility van
rolls into arena and king orders his
"security force" to grab Prince. Prince
struggles but is subdued by security
force with a baton to the knee. Thompson Twins
arrive to break-up the capture followed by the Marshall
and Lone Star Kid. Prince loses
his crown in melee. Drill Sgt. strolls over
to King near the van and
cold cocks him. Drill Sgt. snags both the
King's and Prince's crown and marches back to
the locker room while the Thompson Twins
subdue the security forces and help the ex-Prince
to the exit. Meanwhile Mutant runs to the ring
being chased by Thunder Bay police. The police
shut down the arena just as the WWF wrestlers
and officials escape the building with the exception
of the Mutant and the King who are both arrested for
disorderly conduct. The King is later released.
``Return to Reno'' Round II - Part Two PPV Results:
- Jumpin' Jack Flash vs. Mutant -
Heavyweight Championship Match
LGM substitutes for Mutant who is still being
held in Thunder Bay.
In long match, LGM puts up a valiant effort but he
tires and is put away with a some outside
``help'' from Glitter.
Result: Flash by count-out.
- Mandatory Over the Top-Rope Challenge-
Winner gets immediate shot at any title.
Ex-prince (no shows via satcam) but actually in
crowd and sprays King with fire hose before he limps to ring with a
huge cast on his leg. Flash, Golden Dragon and
Drill Sgt. leave match before it really begins.
LGM stomped on by Thor outside the ring and is
taken off on a stretcher.
Result: Billy Banzai wins Challenge!
Banzai challenges Pirate Pete for the Intercontinental Title!
- *Western Star Pirate Pete vs. Billy Banzai with
Fujisan Intercontinental Title Match
Both Pete and Banzai very tired after the
Over-The-Top rope challenge. Strong match that
could have gone either way. Fujisan helps with
cane from outside and steals treasure chest during
match. Billy Banzai hits with his spin kick and finishes
up with a cheap rollup on a quick count for
the win.
Result: Banzai by pinfall! New Intercontinetal
Champion!
