World Heavyweight Champion: Surfer Dude
Intercontinental Champion: 'Northern Star' Pirate Pete
Tag-Team Champions: Mutilators: Rustler & Vogue
San Diego Wrestling Stampede Results:
- Champions: The Mutilators (Rustler and Vogue)
vs. Thompson Twins for the World Tag Team Championship
The Twins use a challenge bullet but
can they pull together one more
time to re-gain the World Tag Titles...?
- Result: Double Disqualification! Mutilators stripped
of belts!!! Pretty even matchup turns into brawl as
Rustler ''accidentally'' elbows Referee Hebner who rolls out of the
ring in pain. The carnage continues as the
Twins seem to get the upper hand. But Hebner struggles to
time keeper's table and declares a double DQ. Enraged
Turbo pancakes Hebner into table with a flying body tackle
from the ring. A melee ensues with Rustler attempting
to choke out Hebner with an electrical cable. Eight bell rings later, Joe
Tunney comes to ringside and strips the Mutilators of the belts along with
suspending Rustler and Turbo for 30 days!
- Ali vs. Peace (The Match from Beyond) Ali blames Peace for a recent
four-corners match loss and looks to take revenge on this hippie.
- Result: Ali by submission- Ali dominated this match
and ended the bout with a vicious toehold without hardly breaking a sweat.
Peace carted off to the hospital.
- Prince Honors Student with King Lawlyer vs. S.A.M. (The Cheap
Shot
Match) The Prince used an illegal choke-slam to knock S.A.M. out of a
four corners match and sent S.A.M. to a nearby hospital.
S.A.M. is looking to put this 'bad boy'
into detention while the Prince
tries to prove that he is the
rightful Intercontinental contender.
- Result: Prince by pinfall- S.A.M. was in this match
all the way. Prince missed with the
choke-slam but won with a 'King-ly' distraction and a cheap
roll-up.
- Nuts & Bolts vs. Dragon & partner in a Sweet Revenge matchup
Nuts & Bolts (Lenny & Billy) were jumped by Fujisan and his Golden Dragon
causing them to lose the tag belts to the Mutilators so they are looking
for a little sweet revenge.
- Result: Nuts & Bolts by DQ- Tunney announces
that winner will face Stallyons for tag belts.
Dragon's mystery partner turns out to be
Vogue. Good match that went back and forth. Ends comes with
Billy covering Dragon when referee caught Fuji coming in with
a 2x4.
- *'Northern Star' Pirate Pete vs. L.G.M. for the Intercontinental
Championship (2 out of 3 falls)
Best 2 out of 3 falls
intercontinental matchup as
the winner of the first fall gets L.G.M.'s flying saucer and
the winner of the second fall gets the title 'Western Star'.
- Result: Pirate Pete by pinfall (twice)- LGM
just couldn't get it going and Pete just over-powered the little alien.
After the match, Pete gives LGM back the saucer and is joined on his
pirate golf cart by three women dressed in black. The women turn on Pete
and attack him with blackjacks after which they join Jumpin' Jack
Flash at ringside.
- *Surfer Dude vs. Thor vs. two spins
in a World Title Rectangle Match
Main Event: Rectangle Match for the World Title
Thor puts his career ''on the line'' if he is pinned or
counted-out then he will retire!
The wheel spins Ali and the Mutant! So two
ex-champions, Dude and Mutant meet in the ring!
- Result: Ali by countout but Dude keeps the title!
Ali starts against Dude. Dude gets into trouble, tags Thors and then
leaves the arena in his van. (Dude counted out- cannot return.)
Thor and Ali fight back and forth. Ali tags in the Mutant.
Mutant dominates Thor and nearly puts him out of wrestling but
misses a high risk move from the top rope. Thor tags Ali but
an enraged Mutant follows Thor out of the ring and knocks Thor's
Manager out with a 2x4. Ali attempts to grab Mutant
and herd him back to the ring but referee reaches a count of ten
as Surfer Dude shouts ''April Fools!'' via cellular on his way to
the victory banquet.
