I just wanted to announce that there is indeed a rumor that Salute Your Shorts and another popular classic Nick show, are rumored to be coming out on DVD soon. The other show rumored to be coming out on DVD is Are You Afraid of the Dark? Just check out www.amazon.com. Again, this only is a rumor, but I just thought you all should know. Let's hope AYAOTD and SYS are coming to DVD!

I miss this show so much! and Are you afraid of the dark too. I think Nickelodeon should devote an entire chanel to the shows from the good 'ol days like these two and others also, i still love watchin the old game show channels from Double Dare 2000 but I would love to reminisce with these too!!!!!

Watching this show reminds me of the good boy scout days :).. Favorite episode is when Ug things he finds a clump of rare and buitiful scotsman mustase, but it turns out it is really poison sumac.. best episode ever.. lol

"Ellen" sent me a nice e-mail a while ago. She is now working as an emergency technician out East. She let me know that if they would have picked up the third season that she probably would have been a regular on the show.

I was 8 when Salute your shorts premered and 10 when it was cannceled. i miss that show sooooooooooooooooo much!. My favorite epesode of all time was ''Ellen comes to camp''. During the summer of 1996 Nick in the afternoon had rerunns of salute, i watc Bhed all the epesodes agian and remembered how much i loved it. Please put the show back on in rerunns. I miss it.

The Nickelodeon Rewind Series are DVD sets of series that Nickelodeon is no longer showing but still holds some or all of the rights for the show. So far Nick Rewind has released the first season of "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" and "Clarissa Explains It All". On Nov. 1st, the second season of those two shows will be released. If the DVD sales go well, which they have so far; Nick Rewind will release other series from the past and from what I understand "Salute Your Shorts" is near the top of that list.

I love this website. Im 18, and when I was little I used to love to watch this show, and all of the other shows that were on Nickelodeon (I cant spell). I do have a question though.
