I am currently employed at Wandling Engineering. I have over 30 years of experience in machine maintenance, operation and design of machine systems and components. My work experience has included researching machine design, component design, patients, accident investigations and fire cause and origin.

I have research experience in the construction and manufacturing industries, meat packing industry, and restaurant industry. This involved component operation and design. I have experience in code research regarding housing, building, plumbing, mechanical, gas and fire safety.

At Iowa State University I have done research regarding the history of the Department Industrial Education and Technology and fire statistics.
