Educational Background

I am currently attending Iowa State University where I am majoring in Child, Adult, and Family Services. I plan on graduating in December of 2011. I hope to eventually work with at risk teenagers.

At Iowa State I’m a very active volunteer. I volunteer at a homeless shelter and also with at risk youth. In addition, I participate in Relay for Life every year in memory of my mom. I also have two jobs while attending Iowa State: a tutor and a biological research aide.

Before I was at Iowa State, I graduated from Central Lyon High School in 2008, which is in the extreme northwest corner of Iowa. I was very active in many things such as mock trial, speech, choir, and more. I also graduated 2^nd in my class.
