Final Grade

 

 

23. (Nov. 28th 2009) 11th assignment has been assigned due by the final test. (Dec. 17th 7pm Thursday.)

                               Check your Grade 3.

24. (Dec. 10th 2009) Quiz 11 is supposed to be given on Dec. 11th Friday.

                               Because Dec. 9th Wed class has been canceled, there would be not enough time for Quiz 11.

                               On MyMathLab, Quiz 11 will be posted due by Dec. 17th 7pm.

                               Click “Take a test” on MyMathLab.

 

                               **Solutions of in-class tests have been posted.

Before the final test:

1. Finish Hw 11 (click “do Homework”) and Quiz 11(click “Take a Test”) on MyMathLab.

2. Review in-class tests 1, 2, and 3. Solutions are posted. Also review all quizzes and don’t miss Chap. 13. 

3. If you have any questions on the final, let me know via email or visiting my office.

   Office hours (Carver 421) : T(15th) 2~4pm, R(17th) 9am ~ 6pm.

4. Don’t miss the final test on Thursday from 7~9pm, Curtiss 0127. There are going to be very many students.

5. Keep checking your email and course webpage for updates.    

After the final test:

6. If you want to see your final test, then you should see me on Monday (21st). 

                                      

   Final Test 

When: December 17th, Thursday, 7~9 pm

      Where: Curtiss 0127

      Final test is composed with two parts. There is no partial point for the first part. 

      **Cumulative test

         Chapter 3 (3.1 ~ 3.5), Chapter 4 (4.3, 4.4)

         Chapter 5 (5.1 ~ 5.3, 5.5, 5.6)

         Chapter 6 (6.1 ~ 6.8) Chapter 13 (13.1 ~13.3, 13.5)

      ** Materials for study

          1. All in-class tests, quizzes, Hws (especially 11th hw for Chap 13)

          2. Given practice tests

** For final, I may give you some questions on ONLY chapter 13 as practice, because you have three in-class test and two practice tests already.

Hey, do you have troubles with getting a new account on MyMathLab?

 

There have been some questions about MyMathLab, especially about AccessCode.

A new text book will have “AccessCode Kit” which has AccessCode.

But a used book doesn’t have “AccessCode Kit”. If you purchased a used book, then there are several options to get AccessCode.

 

1. Return the used book and Buy a new textbook.

2. Keep the book and Buy AccessCode through online ($ 70).

 

You have to find the best deal between buying a new book and buying both a used book and AccessCode separately.

 

3. You may buy Only AccessCode through online.

 

MyMathLab offers textbook files so you may print out materials if you need.

 

Because I will use MyMathLab for assigning all homework, you have those three options to take my classes.

In other words, you need AccessCode to take my class.

 

If you are unwilling to pay or use MyMathLab, you may consider switching sections which don’t use AccessCode.
