Documented Essay on Political Correctness
This paper asked us to choose a cross-cultural topic and discusses it with using reliable source and our
own thoughts and feelings. Along with the paper we must create an annotated bibliography. My choice for
this paper was the fact the political correctness and cultural sensitivity have gone too far. Through my research,
I found that this myth of political correctness was started as a way to weaken the western civilizations so that they
would be more likely to be defeated by the communist countries, which would allow those countries to, theoretically,
take over the entire world.

Rhetorical Analysis
This assignment had us choose a cross-cultural object and analyze it rhetorical. The object I chose was one of Joseph Stalin's
speeches to the voters of his party. I chose this because Stalin was a very influencial and powerful man, not because he was
physically strong, but because he could motivate people and get them to do whatever he wanted or needed them to do.

Cultural Representation
This project was a group project where the group would choose a student group on campus that was comprised of or was about
international students or cultures. For this project a group must meet with the student group three time, have a
slide show presentation that would represent the community, and then write a reflective narrative essay to reflect on the
rhetorical design of the slide show. The student association that this group chose was the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA).
