And Life as a Sophomore

A Dedication to My Sophomore Year

For the first time in my grown life, I have a room all to myself. Not that I don't love my past roommate to death, but sometimes its just good to have a place to quietly be yourself.

8/30/07 So, as most people know, I have been accepted into the ever so elite school of architecture here at Iowa State. I am all moved in to my room now, and my apartment-mates are all good guys, which is nice. I got myself a new computer for all of my architecture needs too, but as of right now, I am finding out how incredibly lame windows vista really is. But on a more educational matter, the classes are fun. We are currently rebuilding houses that currently exist; my group was assigned the Millard house by Frank Lloyd Wright. Thus far the reconstruction is going well, we are pouring plaster into a cast of each floor, which also allows for cement like texture! Aside from a good project, my teammates are all nice people too, we are all ambitious to get the project done well, which is a good thing.

On a separate note, in my Arch. Communications class we learned how to photostitch images, so, I think that I will slowly be replacing all my side are with cool images! weehee!

9/2/2007 Doing Arch. work today, working on the Millard house, I came to the realization that it is a pretty good feeling to be part of a small class again. <-That being, the architecture students of 2011; there are just under 70 of us... sounds like my graduating high school class?!?! I like that though, small enough to get to know everyone!
