Information for New Division Staff

Thomas Hill

Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs!
I'm pleased that you have chosen to join our staff as we work to support students in their personal and academic development at Iowa State University. Staff in this division work very hard to provide important services to our students and the university community. We house and feed students, provide involvement opportunities, address their health-related needs, and assist them in entering, scheduling, and financing their student experience. You play an important role as a member of this division.

You will find a great deal of information about the division on this website. I hope this information will be helpful to you in establishing a context for your work. In addition, new staff will be invited to attend a Welcome/Overview session sometime within the first two months of employment, and I look forward to meeting you there.

If you are new to Iowa State, welcome to the institution. And if you have joined us from elsewhere in the institution, welcome to the division. I know the contributions you make will be critical to students' success.

Sincerely,

Thomas L. Hill
