Bonnie Whalen was hired in May 2005 as the Fiscal Officer for the Division of Student Affairs. Bonnie is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Budget and HR functions for the ten departments that report to the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Prior to this position, Bonnie was the manager of the Computer Sales division here at Iowa State University for six years and a Budget Analyst for the Department of Energy at Ames Laboratory for three years.

A graduate of Iowa State University, Bonnie started her career in 1988 as a work-study student and has been here ever since.

Bonnie and her husband Sean (also an ISU employee) have two daughters and make their home near Pilot Mound, IA.
