I am currently a
sophomore in mechanical engineering. This is my first year at Iowa State, I
transferred from the University of Iowa this fall. I have worked in a machine
shop for the last 5 years when I’m not in school. I enjoy machining parts, but
would like to get a mechanical engineering degree in order to someday own my
own machine shop. In the summers I enjoying spending time outside and watching
races, I also drive a dirt race car called a Late Model.
