Welcome back to campus!The following message contains essential information for which you are responsible, and is being sent to all Iowa State University students for Fall 2009. Iowa State University uses e-mail to provide official notices and information to students. CANCEL REGISTRATIONIf you decide not to attend ISU for fall, you must CANCEL your registration by Friday, August 21(download instructions and form); or drop all your classes on AccessPlus no later than 11 p.m., Sunday, August 23. If you do not drop all of your classes on or before August 23, you will owe tuition and fees. SCHEDULE CHANGE FEES AND DEADLINESSchedule changes can be made using AccessPlus through Friday, August 28. System hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Saturday (excluding holidays). The system will also be available on Sunday, August 23 until 11 p.m. Beginning Monday August 31, schedule changes will incur a $10 schedule change fee and will be processed through the Scheduling Office in 10 Enrollment Services Center. ISU ALERTThe ISU Alert system (see http://www.isualert.iastate.edu/) will quickly alert Iowa State University students, faculty and staff of potentially dangerous situations on the Iowa State University campus. For details on how to add or update your ISU Alert information see http://isualert.iastate.edu/update.shtml NEW ADDRESS?Make sure your current in-session address information is on AccessPlus. See http://accessplus.iastate.edu DIRECTORY INFORMATIONAs a registered student, your name, ISU e-mail address, in-session address and phone number, hometown, curriculum and year-in-school will be published in the ISU Directory, both hard copy and electronic, (http://ph.iastate.edu/phonebook/phf) unless you request that your information be suppressed. To restrict release of your information, contact the Office of the Registrar in 214 Enrollment Services Center. The hard copy directory is printed at the end of the second week of classes. VIEW YOUR DEGREE AUDIT FROM ACCESSPLUS.Degree Audit (DARSWeb) is the newest feature available on AccessPlus. Not only does DARSWeb provide the convenience of paperless degree audits, but it also offers additional options to assist you with your degree planning. CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTSMeeting rooms for your Fall 2009 courses are now available on your AccessPlus schedule and the Online Schedule of Classes: http://classes.iastate.edu Room assignments are subject to change, so check back later for any updates. YOUR BILLING STATEMENTYour most recent billing statement with Fall 2009 tuition and fees can be viewed on AccessPlus. You will not receive a statement in the mail. You may pay on-line or print a copy and mail your payment. Payments must be received no later than August 20, 2009. TUITION ADJUSTMENT FOR REDUCTION IN CREDITTuition and fees are based on credit load at 5:00 p.m. on the 10th day of class, September 4, 2009. This is the last day for adjustments downward in tuition and fee assessment. Schedule changes after September 4 will not be eligible for tuition reduction. Please note that this deadline does not apply to students who drop all classes. Students who withdraw from all credits are subject to the tuition adjustment schedule for withdrawals at: http://www.public.iastate.edu/~registrar/fees/f09tuition-adj.shtml Tuition and fees are subject to change by the University and Board of Regents, State of Iowa.
