University Academic Advising Committee

CHARGE: 

This committee oversees advising, offers information, activities and programs that improve advising and counsels the Provost regarding issues of interest and concern to advisers.

ACTIVITY: 

The University Academic Advising Committee meets once a month throughout the academic year.  Meetings are open to all advisers at ISU.  For more information about committee activities, go to:

CURRENT MEMBERS & TERM OF SERVICE: 

Chair:  co-chairs will be appointed by the Provost’s Office.  One faculty and one staff adviser will serve for a staggered two-year term. 

Members:  Committee members will be appointed by their respective college or academic unit and will serve a one-year term.  Reappointment to this committee is possible.   Committee members represent the following areas:
