Cleaning and maintaining your ACME Sharp Pro is vital to its lifetime. If your ACME Sharp becomes clogged with a broken piece of pencil or wax from colored pencils, remove it using the end of a paper clip or an object that will easily fit into the sharpener. Never use your finger. Your ACME Sharp Pro needs to be lubricated twice a year for optimal sharpening, use WD-40 and apply it to the gear box.
