Animals that are purchased for research use must be approved by Laboratory Animal Resources (LAR) prior to purchase. Research animals require a log number from LAR for tracking purposes.
Living animals, tissues or blood extracted from living animals or
services to care for or experiment on living animal's requires a log
number and may only be purchased through the web requisitioning system.
No animals may be purchased using the ISU Purchasing Card.
