Textbook: Introduction to Real Analysis, by W. F. Trench

Course Content: Topics from chapters 1-4 in the textbook, plus a small amount of supplemental material

Homework: Problems from the textbook will be assigned during most class meetings. Each Friday you should hand in problems assigned up through the previous Monday. A complete list of all assigned homework problems may be found on the course web page. You are allowed and even encouraged to discuss the homework problems with other students, but the final writing of homework solutions should represent your own individual effort. 

Exams: These will take place on Friday February 18 and Friday April 8. I will clarify a week or so ahead of time exactly what will be covered on each exam.
