"RICE-Coherent Radio Detection of Ultra-high Energy Neutrinos"

Radio Ice Cherenkov Experiment (RICE) is an ultra-high energy neutrino
detector at the South Pole. RICE uses long wavelength coherent
Cherenkov signal from particles in a cascade shower created in polar
ice by an ultra-high energy electron neutrino. Theoretical calculation
of neutrino-nucleon cross-section and measured radio properties of
antarctic ice predicts detectable neutrinos above a PeV energy. I will
discuss in my talk current experimental effort in RICE to detect
ultra-high energy neutrinos, preliminary upper limits on neutrino
fluxes based on analyzed data and future plans.
