"Quarkonium phenomenology: successes and open questions"<br>

        Some recent developments in understanding the production<br>
        and the decays of heavy-quark bound states are presented.<br>
        Comparison with the avalaible data is performed and a critical<br>
        analysis of our actual predictive power for quarkonium<br>
        production at the present and forthcoming colliders is<br>
        addressed.<br>
