The Beijing Spectrometer II (BES-II) has collected the world's largest samples of J/psi meson (58 million) and Psi(2S) meson (14 million) decays. Recent results from studies of these decays including spectroscopy of light mesons (sigma, kappa, f_0(980), f0(1370), f0(1500) and structures around 1.7 GeV), search for multi-quark candidates and observation of new baryon resonances are presented.
