Data sets that have been discussed in class or are used in homework are:
- spruce2.txt Modified data file for ozone
effects on spruce trees. First column is the treatment. Second is
the chamber number, last is the size at the end of the 2nd year.
- topsin.txt Growth of 14 fungal
isolates (genetic varieties) to the fungicide topsin. Growth is
measured as diameter increase. The columns
are the isolate name, block number, fungicide concentration, and
growth.
- chute2.txt Data file for subset
of the parachute line strength data. These are data only for line 2
on each parachute at all positions. These are the data used in class to demonstrate
random coefficient regression.
- learn2.txt Monkey memory retention
data for HW problem 2.
- tolerance.txt Tolerance data
from the National Youth Survey, for HW problem 1.
